Casey's brother shuts down his blog

As you can see here (as least until it goes blank), Casey's brother is shutting down his blog.

He says it's mainly because of the trolls, but that's the effect of the problem. The cause of the problem was that Casey's brother took about 2 weeks getting around to doing another post, so the real contributors became disinterested, and the leftovers were generally trolls.

Prediction: Casey's new goal by December 2011

We're buying a loaf of bread by 2012! You in?

Casey's island pipe dream still marinatin'

Casey now has a little phrase on his island2012 website comparing his island dream to preparing a steak for dinner -- or in this case, perhaps an In-and-Out burger due to Casey's strict semi-vegan dietary regimen.

There's also one other thing that is marinating in Casey's world -- his wobbly little brain due to his marijuana-smoking habit.

In the business world, it's hard for me to fathom that anyone other than Casey would think making such comments are a good idea. It only makes him look like a clueless, immature and indecisive moron. And in this case, looks are not deceiving.

Helping Casey buy his "fantasy island"

I think most of us know that Casey's dream of buying an island by 2012 won't die until sometime around December 2011, so in that spirit, this is the inaugural post for helping Casey buy an island.

I checked out Private Islands Online, which bills itself as "The World's Private Island Marketplace", to look up some sweet deals for Casey. (I'm sorry....I meant "Sweet Dealz". Won't happen again.)

The site has a keyword feature that allows you to target your searches. I used the terms "motivated seller" and "seller financing" which are terms that a savvy real estate investor like Casey Serin would use to find flexible sellers willing to part with their properties. I actually managed to get a few hits by using these terms. (Unfortunately, the term "sweet cashback" or similar variations received no useful hits.) A select few properties would meet Casey's objective to buy an island somewhere in the tropical regions of the world.

One of the hits was for Cockroach Caye, a tropical island off the coast of Belize. Let's get a look at the description for this magical paradise:

"An exceptional 10 acre property featuring 500 feet of Caribbean Sea frontage in Cockroach Bay. The island is approximately 300 yards to the reef or less. This property is undeveloped and in its virgin state. There are many coconut trees on the property and beautiful white sand, but the land will need to be cleared to be usable. The area is unspoiled with great fishing for permit, tarpon and bonefish in the nearby flats. The open sea is about 500 to 600 yards away."

Now, I know you are already skeptical because there are only 10 acres on this island, which may not be enough room for Casey's cult sustainable community, and because a lot of work will need to be done just to clear the property. Well, Casey loves doubterz so please don't bore him with such detailz. The only thing that matters to Casey is the following statement:

"The seller will consider all offers and would do some financing also. Need to sell very urgently."

Sweet! When the seller will consider all offers, that means the seller will even entertain a backstabbing, throw-under-the-bus offer from Casey! And because Casey Serin is such a savvy investor, he can take "some financing" from the seller and turn it into 100% seller financing with sweet cashback because of his amazing negotiating skillz!

Of course, one must wonder why the seller would be so motivated to sell. Perhaps the seller got into financial trouble, or perhaps the property is too prone to flooding from tropical storms.

Or maybe it has something to do with the name. You know, maybe one of Casey's guests will wake up one day to find that a cockroach as big as his head is crawling across his body.

But I'm sure Casey will figure it out. He's probably going to change the name to "Casey Caye" which will send a signal to the cockroaches that they are not welcome. Then they'll move out, and the only pest left will be Casey himself.

Pat Barry and Casey Serin don't mix

Yesterday I came across this Yahoo! Sports blog post about Pat Barry, a UFC fighter that was flat broke and eating very little food before his last fight. The following quote from Barry resonated with me, explaining that he didn't ask anyone for money to help him out:

"I could ask someone but then at the same time, how hard are you going to work for something if everytime you get in trouble somebody catches you? I did something to put myself in this position (and) I have to work my way out of it."

Such words may be confusing to a serial grifter like Casey Serin.

Casey shut down his island2012 blog

It appears that before Casey went to work on Monday morning, he logged in to island2012 and shut it down, only leaving the countdown number in the upper left corner with a tropical background.

Was Casey worried that his boss would find the blog? Did his boss already find it and question him about it? Or is Casey just in the depressive phase of his manic-depressive cycle, burning rubber on the freeway and heading toward Epic Failville?

That's the delicious part. Let's find out.

Casey puts up another rambling blog post

You can find the incomprehensible post by clicking here.

I don't think a person could post something this inane unless they are drinking or on drugs (legal or otherwise), although Casey can surprise us even when he is not under the influence of various mind-altering substances. For example, he thought it was a perfectly reasonable idea to go to the park dressed up as a pirate (and a very ugly one at that) for his birthday, and I assume he was clean and sober, at least until he showed up at the park. It would have been perfectly reasonable about 8 hours ago, but not around Labor Day.

If the person who hired him knows about the blog (and Casey said he was an "old friend" but I think Casey uses that term with almost everyone he has previously met), I don't see how the guy doesn't look at the latest blog post and figures out that something is seriously wrong with Casey's mental state. Even if Casey didn't tell him about the blog, all that his boss needs to do is type "Casey Serin" into Google and the island2012 website comes up as the fifth link on the first page. On Yahoo, it ranks #12.

Perhaps his boss only cares about how much commissions Casey can generate assuming the job is partly based on commission (I believe either Casey or his brother implied this earlier). Depending on the structure of the job, his boss may not care what Casey does outside of work as long as he shows up on time...in other words, he may not care if Casey would fail a piss test as long as Casey generates decent revenue for the company.

However, just wait for a day where there is a "misunderstanding" and Casey doesn't show up. And then, without warning, Casey may feel the need to throw him under the bus just like everyone else.

Happy Halloween everyone!

It's Halloween so I figured I would scare the living crap out of you. Think of it as a Master Cleanse without the cayenne pepper, maple syrup and all of that other stuff.

Are you more scared by this?

Or this?

Just remember...IT'S NOT A FART!!!

Hope everyone has a GHOULISH good time this evening!

Casey Serin: Writer for the Onion?

This Onion article is written as if Casey Serin wrote it himself:

"A report released Monday by the Omaha-based public-interest group Aurora indicates that increasing numbers of Americans are being defrauded by schemes that offer financial reward for a lifetime of hard work. "People don't realize that long-term savings and loyalty to one company don't pan out," said Sylvia Girouard, the study's author. Girouard added that steady employment which claims to offer long-term financial gain in the form of a pension plan is nothing more than an elaborate Ponzi scheme."

God, I love the Onion. Oh, and arrest Casey Serin NOW!

Casey Serin and "The Great Pumpkin"

Tonight I watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" with my family, and I realized that Casey is a little bit like Linus.

There's dipshit Linus sitting in the pumpkin patch waiting for The Great Pumpkin to show up like he does every Halloween, just like dipshit Casey chases after "The Great Shiny" every time he has a manic episode or sees another MLM scam.

The main difference, of course, is that Linus isn't a flailing-floorward con artist like Casey.

You will be amazed after watching this video...

For those of you who have been wondering how Casey can buy an island with none of his own money (which he doesn't have anyway) and none of his own credit (which he also doesn't have), I say to you that it's Casey Serin's high level of professional acumen that will seal the deal! Here, just take a look at this Youtube video and see for yourself:

On a more serious note, Casey Serin makes Vanilla Ice look like Slim Shady.

New post from Casey's brother (finally!)

Without much explanation, Casey's brother finally puts up a new blog post about "The Secret" and its divergence from Christian beliefs, ending the 1,000+ comments on the previous post. He also promises to post at least once a week.

Pretty soon I will be reviewing several islands from Private Islands Online to help Casey decide what cult location island to buy.

"T-Minus....Never?"

Casey's brother's latest blog post entitled "T-Minus...Never?" has been up for 2 weeks now without an update, and the number of comments on that post has surged to over 1,000. The title of the post jokingly referred to Casey's "T-Minus" countdown for buying the island, but ironically, it seems just as appropriate as the countdown for Casey's brother setting up a new blog post.

I think this is Casey's brother's way of saying he won't be updating the blog any longer unless Casey loses his job or does something else that's incredibly stupid. Based on Casey's level of epic fail, that could be in the not-too-distant future.

Why isn't the Law of Attraction working here?

I thought the Law of Attraction was going to attract people in droves to this blog. Casey uses the Law of Attraction and it seems to work for him! Why can't I have magical powers like Casey?

Casey now wants to assume island mortgages

Casey posts on his island2012 blog that he should just take over payments for a mortgage on a private island.

Apparently he thinks that a seller of an island is just as sophisticated and just as motivated as the owner of a crackhouse.

People who own islands, especially tropical islands that have the size of what Casey needs for his pie-in-the-sky venture, are quite sophisticated. In this economic environment, I guess it's possible that they could be motivated if they are overleveraged, but many of them are not going to be mortgaged. People who can afford these islands generally buy them with cash.

But if the seller is actually motivated to sell, what undermines all of this is that Casey Serin would be in charge of buying the island! The seller does just one Google search and the deal is off.

And Casey's idea of assuming the mortgage or getting seller financing is ridiculous because the seller will know there is a 99% chance of having him default on it. What interest rate do you charge for a 99% probability of default? (Okay, maybe it's a 100% probability --- I was trying to be nice!)

Casey says this is "easy" as if he has dealt with this so many times. This is a classic example of Casey taking his life experiences and extending them to an area for which he has no experience and no clue...although similar results can be expected (i.e. a quick default). Casey couldn't care less about his obligations to the seller.

The only way somebody takes him up on such a ridiculous offer is if the island has a serious problem of some kind, like toxic waste issues. The seller shouldn't worry about this because Casey isn't interested in the fine print. He is a sophisticated investor so he can't be bored with the details and he doesn't need an attorney to review his contracts. The seller would just take whatever down payment Casey would give him and call it a win.

But Casey loves doubters, right? He's got it all figured out. Of course he skipped past that little detail about sponsorship and a solid business plan, and went straight to buying the island...but don't worry because Casey has been thinking really hard about it and you should give him credit for that. I mean, you just have no idea!

My solemn vow....

As long as this blog is up and running, I will never attempt to speak with Casey.

Why? I think the answers are pretty obvious, but I will quickly make a list:

1) Casey doesn't listen to the voice of reason.
2) I have a low tolerance for people who can't shut off the BS switch when they talk.
3) The purpose of this blog is to catch Casey in an illegal act that gets him arrested (if his current job doesn't work out --- otherwise it's just to monitor island2012 and his brother's blog). So let's focus on that, shall we?

Of these, I think # 1 definitely takes precedence. If you speak to Casey, you need to realize that proper logic and reasoning will be AWOL every time Casey opens his mouth and begins vibrating his vocal cords via the forced passage of air.

Regarding # 2, life is simply too short to have someone blow sunshine up your ass. If you are going to have a conversation with someone, the least that person could do is tell it to you straight.

Regarding # 3, we gotta keep our eyes on the prize.

What in the blue hell is he talking about?

"What if I knew for sure that I cannot fail in my goal of buying a tropical island by 2012?"

What if I knew for sure that Casey obviously WILL fail? Do I get a mint on my pillow as a reward?

How can someone drop himself into a giant crater and not see that he's inside a giant crater?

My god, the weed must be awfully potent today. The marijuana possession is just one of the umpteen reasons why Casey should have been arrested long ago, yet continues to evade the sleepy eyes of law enforcement in the Sacramento area. And this bizarre writing on his blog, along with his bizarre behavior in the video, is going to get him fired if he doesn't stop being a supreme douchebag.

Keeping it Organic with a "W-2 Looser" Job

Casey's island2012 website says that Casey finally got a W-2 job. Casey writes:

"Yes, an actual “W-2″ job! First time since January 2006 when I quit my last W-2 job, Programmer at Pride Industries. Pretty exciting stuff actually. I’m enjoying the job and there is already reason to believe I will stick with this one long term. Especially since there is an opportunity to add value through marketing."

All of the Haterz may be surprised he finally got a W-2 job, but I'm sure they are not surprised that he intends to "add value through marketing". Casey thinks he is some sort of marketing guru when he is really better at blog trolling. However, if Casey is actually working from some sort of script, maybe he has a chance.

Casey is already thinking of voluntarily allowing his parentz to stop enabling him through free lodging:

"The amount of income should be enough to move out into my own place again. I’m thinking of going back to downtown / midtown / East Sac area. Living in-town for 6 months at the beginning of this year was really nice. That way I’m close to my job, my favorite yoga studio, and everything else that is going on in Sacramento. (I’ve been wanting to get more into the local scene.)"

Okay, so Casey wants to be close to a yoga studio and "get more into the local scene" by moving closer to downtown. You know, a certain type of guy wants to be closer to yoga studios. Anyway, Casey gives a shout-out to his parentz for the good enabling vibez:

"I’m very VERY thankful to my parents for the “safety net” (their home) that I have been taking advantage of quite often in the last few years of my entrepreneurial adventures. However, at 27, I am very much looking to get back to independent mode. Although, I may stay here a little longer to save up some money and pay down some debt. We shall see how things play out."

Well, not so fast...maybe Casey needs to stay home to pay down some debtz faster, which is Casey-code for "I need to remain close to Mommy and Daddy because the real world is so big and scary --- and they have a nice TV too". I think between paying down his debtz faster or moving out, I think most haterz would agree he should move out because they don't believe the first part.

Then, in a strange twist that may be hard to believe right now, Casey wants to keep his job under wrapz:

"At this point I am not going to disclose any more about my job as the employer wants to stay anonymous and I completely support that idea. Good lessons learned from last job."

It's amazing that Casey even needs to learn lessonz from his last job when a 10-year-old could have told him to keep his mouth shut about working with Angel Lynn. But he actually discussed this with his now boss? Well, you can thank the Law of Attraction for a wild, wacky, OUTRAGEOUS turn of events!

"I haven’t shared yet how much of a fortunate co-incidence getting this job has been. The very day I seriously considered getting a job is when I ran into an old friend whom I haven’t seen in years! We started talking about his business and he happened to have an open position which he offered to me right on the spot!! I started off part-time and based on my performance was allowed to go full-time. (The only reason I ran into him, by the way, is because I volunteered to stay after and help cleanup at an engagement party I attended, which happened to be right next to where my job is!)"

Yes, it's really crazy to run into people you know! (It's called networking, you moron!)

And oh, by the way, I was just thinking about getting a job (because my parentz told me to get my shit together!)

And my new boss friend dude has an open position! Sweet! (Even in this economy where some people are practically starving!)

And in just a few days, I went full-time based on my performance! (Because I have nothing else to do all day, so why not?)

Casey is already wondering how he can work full-time and keep his island dream alive. The conflicts in his wobbly little brain are already fighting against each other.

Welcome

I set up this blog for one purpose -- to get Casey Serin arrested.

Casey has made it very clear that he thinks he is above the law. Through various videos and Talkshoe podcasts he has posted online, Casey has clearly conducted illegal activities that warrant arrest and incarceration.

However, I'm putting this effort on hold due to my own time constraints and his brother's announcement that Casey has a job. I would rather not have the taxpayer foot the bill for Casey's bad behavior as long as he is making a productive contribution to society, rather than feeding off it like a blood-sucking leech. If he gets fired or quits his job, I will reconsider.
